Australia COVID – 19 Update
Effective 21st March at 9pm Australian time, entry to all nationalities will be suspended, other than Australian residents and Australian permanent inhabitants, and their close relatives. Qantas aircraft will suspend the entirety of its worldwide flights from the 31st of March until in any event 31 May.
From 15 March, all individuals travelling to Australia will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days. Luxury ships are prohibited from showing up at Australian ports for 30 days. Outside nationals (barring permanent occupants of Australia) who have been in terrain China, South Korea, Iran or Italy won’t be permitted to enter Australia for 14 days from the time they have left or traveled any of those nations.
Residents and changeless occupants of Australia and their close relatives who enter Australia and who have been in terrain China, Iran, Italy or South Korea will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days from the time they left territory China, Iran, Italy or South Korea. Temporary visa holders who are not eligible for passage into Australia under these measures will have their visa cancelled. Steps will be taken to reinstate visas as suitable after the lifting of these upgraded border control measures.
